What do you mean by Blog?

Informally diary-style text entries or posts are called Blogs. Posts are typically displayed in reverse chronological order, so that the most recent post appears first, at the top of the web page. Many blogs provide commentary on a particular subject or topic, ranging from politics to sports. Basically, a small online diaries or platform, where bloggers can express themselves in writing or give their opinion on a particular topic and others function in this industry was online brand advertising of a particular individual or company. A typical blog combines text, digital images, and links to other blogs, web pages, and other media related to its topic.

Short History about Blogging

According to expert in the year 1994 the first blog was post in links.net by the student Justin Hall, while he was a Swarthmore College student at that time they weren't called blogs, and he just referred to it as his personal homepage. After one year it was called “weblog”.

In Personal Blog, Where that particular person post some line, text and also image about his or her daily routines, Which means that person express himself to the world and in 1994 the same thing happened with Justin Hall.

One more interesting fact is that  “Open Diary” was the first open Social network platform in this industry.

Different between Blogging & Vlogging

Nowdays maximum public are confused about Blog or Vlog. So, in this article, I want to express differentiate between Blog and Vlog, first of all anyone who wants to express their opinion about any particular things that can be his or her life, daily routine, any other topic, and also about Brand or company that is called Blog. That can be express with image, writing content, or others redirect link.

On the other hand Vlog stands for video blog, which means that the same thing can be done but in another way, it means the medium is video and is a form of web television. Vlog entries often combine embedded video with supporting text, images, and other data. Entries can be recorded in one take or cut into multiple parts.

In “History of Blogging” part I called it Blogging industry and it is not only  told by me also many experts give their opinion that day by day  this open platform getting popularity to the world due to more accessibility of the internet and digitalization.

In my point of view at the first time when people want to save their life history so that they can be told us about their life history and also the other stuff, they start writing a diary that’s the reason may be the first blogging platform called “Open Diary”, Whatever Blogging or Vlogging is the two different ways that people can express their feelings and as well as what they want to tell the world. But Day by Day people getting Habituated with advanced platform and technology. In past time people write their life story in a diary then came that Blogging platform where people can express with image, video and after 2002 when the internet became available to the people in commercially then Vlogging came in different platforms (Youtube). In this both platform nowadays the company sell their products. From 2007 approximately blogger or vlogger they are called Content Creator. Since, 1994 according to statistics  Blogging and Vlogging, both platform growth rate going upwards. At last both platforms evolved and make a good going Blogging Industry.
